Search Engine

The new asset search filter lets you use the familiar Shodan search engine/ API/ CLI to search for results based on the assets configured in Shodan Monitor. For example:

asset:all product:bigip

The above query would identify all BigIP services that Shodan has identified across your monitored assets. If you only want to search within specific asset groups then you can also define a list of asset group IDs to the search filter:

asset:XYZ,ABC,GHJ product:bigip

The IDs for an asset group can be seen on the Shodan Monitor website, CLI (shodan alert list) or via the API (/shodan/alert/info).

If you have a search query to find exposed services and want to see if any of your assets are impacted then simply add “asset:all” to your query.
